Nairobi Day Excursion: National Park & Giraffe Centre

A half-day Nairobi city escape — game drive through Nairobi National Park, then hand-feeding the giraffes at the Giraffe Centre.

Nairobi is the only capital city in the world with a national park on its doorstep — home to lion, zebra, warthog and a rich variety of birdlife, with a safari walk where you can see rhino, cheetah and crocodile up close. This excursion pairs a game drive through Nairobi National Park with a visit to the Giraffe Centre, where you can hand-feed — and get a nuzzle from — the resident reticulated giraffes. You'll be picked up from your hotel and driven into the park for a game drive, with an optional safari walk to see rhino, cheetah and crocodile at close range. From there, head to the Giraffe Centre to feed the giraffes before returning to your agreed drop-off point. Lunch at the Carnivore restaurant can be arranged along the way at your own cost.
